Rehabilitation Department

    The rehabilitation department of Liaocheng People's Hospital is a key clinical specialty in Shandong Province. It was founded in 1993. There are 32 medical staff, 5 deputy chief physicians, 15 physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists and rehabilitation engineering technicians, and 5 graduate students. Two were studying advanced rehabilitation technology in Singapore, and many were studying in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and other hospitals. Introduce the international advanced rehabilitation treatment model. Rehabilitation doctors, therapists, nurses, traditional Chinese medicine doctors, psychotherapists and other staff form a treatment group to carry out comprehensive rehabilitation treatment for each patient. Ma Junting, director of the department, is a member of Shandong Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Medicine Branch and a standing member of Shandong Rehabilitation Physicians Association.

    The rehabilitation department has advanced rehabilitation equipment, focusing on multidisciplinary collaboration and cooperation, employing neurology and orthopedic specialists as technical guidance, regularly organizing lectures and rounds, and attaching importance to neurological diseases, while emphasizing the restoration of disease function. The clinical diagnosis and treatment of osteoarthrosis has formed a unique academic advantage. In recent years, early rehabilitation interventions have been carried out in clinical departments such as orthopaedics and neurology, and elderly rehabilitation and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation have been carried out on the basis of rehabilitation in orthopaedics and neurology.

    Rehabilitation department is divided into two parts: outpatient department and ward department. Outpatient clinic has cervical spondylosis, lumbar rehabilitation clinic, massage clinic, physical therapy (PT) room (including high frequency electrotherapy room, low and medium frequency electrotherapy room), occupational therapy (OT) room, language therapy (ST) room, hand function training room, brace room, etc., with 300 square meters of rehabilitation training hall. There are 21 beds in the ward.

    The Department has two three-dimensional spine-setting instruments, one weight-reducing gait training machine, two electric stand-ups, one high-voltage potential therapeutic machine, one heavy hammer hip joint training machine, two electric lift stand-ups, one shoulder joint CPM, one knee joint CPM, two multi-position treatment beds, one massage bed, two lower limb power lathes and two lower limb rehabilitation trainers. There are three microwave therapeutic instruments, one neuromuscular rehabilitation instrument, one cervical and lumbar vertebral disease therapeutic instrument, one XT 400A bone wound therapeutic instrument, one semiconductor laser therapeutic instrument, one EEG bionic instrument, six ultrashort waves, one light-wave bathroom, two wax therapeutic machines, one swallowing speech diagnostic instrument, one EMG biofeedback instrument, balance training instrument and shock wave pain therapy instrument and other international advanced rehabilitation treatment equipment.

     In recent years, a number of scientific research work has been carried out, including "Research on Mckenzie Therapy for Cervical Spondylosis", "Jingyunling Therapy for Cervical Spondylosis of Vertebral Artery Type", "Research on the Treatment of Peripheral Nerve Injury", "Jinyuan Decoction for Sjogren's Syndrome", "High Voltage Potential Therapy for Lumbar Intervertebral Disc Herniation" and other two second prizes and four third prizes. It has published more than 30 papers at or above the provincial level and 5 articles in the Chinese series. He is the editor-in-chief of his monographs "Getting out of the Mistaken Zone of Cervical Spondylosis" and "Non-surgical Treatment of Cervical Spondylosis"
